Another perfect Autumn morning for S&A Under 7's Blues - second home ground fixture against neighbouring Redgate Rovers Greens.

The boys were all fired up for the game and boosted with confidence from the tremendous home crowd support, with the game being the second on today’s fixture list [big thanks to our Under 7’s and U8’s teams support??]
From the whistle the boys attacked with pace and caught our opponents by surprise, which gave us a great early goal from dynamo, Harvey who was a handful up and down the wing that allowed us to use the full width of pitch to our advantage.
This led to a fantastic goal from Joseph who managed to spin his man and race away from their defenders to hit it home! The boys were all eager to get onto the score sheet and continued to make several chances, which were unluckily kept out by their keeper and woodwork to the crowds dismay.

The second half was a much harder fought affair as Redgate took full advantage of their squad and continually rotated players with fresh legs but we had our talisman, Emiel who was steadfast in defence and denied Redgate’s advances and perfectly timed a lovely through ball to Chase who scored a brilliant shot from the halfway line!

The boys were absolutely brilliant today and perfect gentlemen by shaking everyone’s hands and thanking the referee and visiting players for a great game.
The performance of the day went to Emiel who was MOTM and well deserved.
